On Labor Day, it’s worth considering the arduous plight of American workers today, as well as the fallout for workers, as determined by the upcoming November elections.
By any measure, working-class people are in a very foul mood right now, highly stressed about their quality of life and pessimistic about their financial future. For example, even CNN admits that a stunning 39% of Americans worry they cannot pay their most basic bills. Of course, that number is far higher for middle- and lower-income citizens.
My own polling shows that in battleground Arizona, only 18% of voters think the American Dream is even attainable. Consumer confidence has slumped throughout the Biden/Harris time in office, and currently sits below the worst levels of the 2020 lockdowns. In another battleground state, Michigan, voters say they were better off under Trump by a whopping +36 percentage points, 64-28%.
So, given this quagmire for workers, what are the top five arguments against Kamala Harris’s candidacy, from a laborers’ perspective:
1. Real Wages – pay adjusted for inflation is the “mother’s milk” of prosperity for workers. Even if paychecks increase on the top line, if those increases cannot keep pace with inflation, then the real buying power of workers diminishes and standards of living decline.
Since Kamala Harris became vice-president, real wages have crashed. Even though nominal pay has increased, the gains have not been nearly enough to keep pace with runaway +20% inflation on her watch, and so real incomes are down a stunning -3.9% under Kamala, per the House Ways and Means Committee analysis of the data.
2. Housing Affordability – after a hard day’s work, can workers come home to a quality house or apartment in a safe area? Not under the economic mismanagement of Kamala Harris.
In fact, according to Goldman Sachs analysis of shelter costs, housing affordability has never been worse. This financial crunch flows from a crushing combination of soaring mortgage rates – thanks to the Biden/Harris spending spree – and record home prices. Shockingly, the income needed to afford a median priced home has more than doubled since before the pandemic, according to Realtor.com.
3. Manufacturing Slump – under Harris and Biden, the growth sectors of the economy, especially regarding jobs, center on government growth and quasi-governmental areas like healthcare. In contrast, the high-paying and family-sustaining jobs in manufacturing languish. The barometer ISM Manufacturing Index tells the sad tale of production in America with Kamala Harris in the White House.
As shown below, Manufacturing is mired in a pronounced decline, and this index has been below 50, which signals recession for factories, for every month but 2 in the last two years under Kamala and Joe.
4. Jobs for Foreigners – as the supposed “Border Czar” under Biden, Kamala Harris has, in reality, thrown America’s front door wide open. There are so many negative consequences of this radical, lawless lunacy.
Our streets are less safe, as preventable crimes punish American families, such as the brutal, daytime murder of Laken Riley on the campus of the University of Georgia. Our national security is also compromised, as known terrorists simple saunter across our border.
But the open border also steals opportunity from American laborers. In fact, in the last two years, ALL of the job gains under Kamala Harris as vice-president have gone to foreigners, whether legal immigrants or illegal aliens. The Dallas Federal Reserve put out a report on this trend, titled: “Unprecedented Immigration Surge Boosts Job Growth.” Even though that report clearly tried to put a positive spin on the “jobs desert” for American-born workers, it admitted that “the population influx could put upward pressure on rents and house prices.” Ya think???
5. Reparations! – Ok, so if all the above evidence is not enough to convince you that Kamala is awful for workers, how about this last point? If you are a worker struggling to pay your bills, feed your family, and keep yourself financially afloat…and you just happen to have brown or white skin, guess what? Kamala is literally going to “tax your melanin” and force you to pay your black neighbors so-called reparations -- for racist crimes that were committed long before you were ever born.
Not surprisingly, this idea polls terribly, especially among those who would pay, rather than receive, the bounty. In swing-state Michigan, only 19% of white voters agree with reparations. Nonetheless, Kamala voiced strong support for reparations back in the 2020 presidential race alongside race-hustler Al Sharpton, and more recently again as vice-president.
So, along with budgeting to afford skyrocketing grocery bills, you can now also add a “skin color” levy…if you happen to be Hispanic, Asian, or white.
Instead, let’s defend workers, restore confidence, and return to common sense. Kamala is poison for prosperity. Time to return to Donald J. Trump as our economic leader.

I get emails from the New York Times trying to get me to subscribe and they always have the title and an excerpt from the article. Last week I got one titled “When to get the latest Covid shot and how long it lasts.” Aug 31, 2024. The excerpt said “Newly approved Covid-19 vaccines will be coming to pharmacies and doctors’ offices soon, and health officials recommend them for everyone over 6 months old.” It’s truly horrible that they’d be recommending this for babies and the damage is greatly compounded by the fact that the NYT sets the standard for factual reporting which is picked and reported by the msm all over the country and considered fact based information by democrats all over the country.
Bret Weinstein has a PhD in biology and understands things like viruses and vaccines quite well. At the 6 min point in this interview with PBD he says of the mRNA Covid vaccine that it turns down immunity. If it does that in adults what would it do to a developing immune system in a baby? This is an excellent video though with a lot of information that should be shared with others. Democrats say Bret Weinstein is a far right fascist who spreads misinformation but he’s obviously highly intelligent and credible, far more so than anyone on their side which is the Woke side.

I assumed this was still the mRNA vaccine and it is. I don’t remember it ever being recommended for babies though. Truly awful. Our ruling class is evil.
“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone ages 6 months and older get one of the updated vaccines. Pfizer’s and Moderna’s updated mRNA vaccines are fully approved for everyone ages 12 and older, and each has a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) emergency use authorization (EUA) for infants and children ages 6 months through 11 years.”
