Yet another American woman has been brutalized by an illegal migrant in yet another totally preventable act of brazen violence. This new case in Chicago shares similarities to the horrific daytime murder of Laken Riley on the University of Georgia campus by illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra.
On 8pm on Saturday March 16th on the University of Illinois at Chicago campus, a woman was choked unconscious and sexually assaulted by an illegal from Venezuela, Elvis Herandez-Pernalete.
The assailant was not new to Chicago police. He had been apprehended just weeks ago for shoplifting from a downtown TJ Maxx store but was not turned over to ICE for deportation in the so-called “sanctuary city” of Chicago. So, as a consequence of Biden’s open border – and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s infatuation with illegal migrants – a Chicago woman endured a life-changing violent trauma.
This illegal alien was housed, at taxpayer expense, at the former Standard Club of Chicago. Until the 2020 lockdowns, the Standard Club catered to the elites of Chicago society as one of the Chicago Loop’s most auspicious private clubs for dining, athletics, and overnight rooms. It served a mostly Jewish membership and the Chicago Sun Times described the Standard as “a mecca for Chicago’s business titans.”
Now, taxpayers sustain the luxury building as a comfortable home for over 1,000 illegal aliens, including dangerous predators like Hernandez-Pernalete.
Concurrent with this total disregard for public safety, city leaders in Chicago continue to dabble in the most extreme elements of radical leftist politics.
For example, the prestigious City Club of Chicago announced a forum to discuss “decriminalizing sex work” in the city of Big Shoulders. The City Club has existed for 120 years and was described by the New York Times as “a who’s who of business people and political leaders and a required stop for most anyone who wants to win office” in Chicago.
The panel will be led by Illinois State Senator Celia Villanueva who represents a mostly Hispanic district not far from the site of the brutal illegal alien attack at the UIC campus. Noting the restaurant hosting the luncheon, famous Chicago Italian eatery Maggiano’s, Chicago City Wire dubbed the conclave as “Hookers and Chicken Parm.”
Consider the contrast here: as city politicians host luncheon soirees to discuss radical social agendas, Chicago reels from the intense fallout of a mass influx of illegals into the city.
Budgets are stretched as deficit spending explodes to house and feed the illegals – often in circumstances that far surpass the living conditions of actual American citizens in the Windy City. Free healthcare is also provided for the illegal aliens, in a city that presently has the worst life-expectancy chasm between rich and poor neighborhoods in America, according to the NYU School of Medicine.
But even worse than the financial toll of the wave of foreign trespassers, American citizen Chicago residents must suffer from 100% preventable violence. If Hernandez-Pernalete was not invited to break-and-enter America, or if he had been expeditiously removed once arrested here for additional crimes, then an innocent woman victim would not have been brutalized on a college campus.
But instead of restoring public safety, the self-proclaimed Marxists who now run Chicago would rather host academic discussions of going even further with an extreme radical agenda.
No one in America should assume that this kind of lawless insanity will stay contained to only blue cities like Chicago. National Democrat leaders in Washington concur on this extreme agenda, from Biden and Harris to Schumer. So, view Chicago as a “canary in the mine” warning and take heed. A failure to mobilize and vote into November would result in all of America reflecting the present chaos of Chicago.

I never mentioned the bible as a prosecutor. Not once in over 300 jury trials. I felt it was too corny. But maybe the time has come to overcome that sentiment. There's a passage in the New Testament that goes something like this: "All sins are forgivable...except sins against the Holy Ghost." I never knew what the hell that meant....but I now think I can guess. Sins of weakness, sins of the flesh are readily forgivable. But denying the truth, telling deliberate lies to gain advantage---this is not forgivable. Democrats are telling voters the country can run without police protection, monies for street, bridge, park, library and school maintenance could be diverted to DEI training without a diminishment in the quality of community life, our military academies will be better off deleting words such as "Honor" and "Country" from their pledges and loyalty to the Constitution is a "fetish"...
They know these pronouncements are untrue.... but they persist in making them for the simple reason they're attracting every fringe element in the country to their cause. In other words they are following the old Machiavellian formula, "unite the weak and the gullible against the strong by appealing to their weakness & gullibility." It may work...but I'm pretty sure it [and what it will lead to] qualifies as an unforgivable sin.
It’s hard to think of a historical precedent of a government letting outsiders infringe on their monopoly on violence. Even kings, dictators, and other totalitarians had a redline against others perpetuating violence on their subjects. In the case of Democrats, they’re all-in on outsiders (illegal immigrants) perpetuating violence against citizens, Democrats and Republicans. I guess there’s a short term political advantage in it but it seems like the long term negatives to our social order would outweigh them and be obvious.
