California Chaos and Kamala
The decline of the Golden State provides a stark warning for America…
The city of Oakland just lost its last major professional sports team, with the once-mighty A’s playing their final major league baseball game in the troubled city. The NFL’s Raiders and NBA’s Warriors had already left the city for places with better financial prospects and less crime. The Wall Street Journal explained “it was the pro sports capital of America, now it’s been wiped off the map.”
This evacuation of big-time sports represents a much larger trend of material and systemic problems for the whole of California. Kamala Harris launched her ill-fated 2020 race with a rally in her hometown of Oakland, and she remains close political allies of corrupt California powerbrokers, especially former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Governor Gavin Newsom.
Crucially, as America starts voting in this hotly contested presidential election, battleground state voters overwhelmingly reject the California model for America. Specifically, the smart citizens of neighboring states – Arizona and Nevada – wholeheartedly reject the California way, and that aversion could well tip those tight races into Trump’s column.
Arizona has seen a flood of Californians into the Grand Canyon State in recent years, as they flee the high costs, cultural radicalism, and general ennui of Harris’s California. In a recent survey for American Greatness, only 18% of Arizonans believe that California is on “the right track.”
Among voters in Nevada, which shares a 400-mile border with California, negative views about the Golden State dominate. In a survey of over 1000 Nevada voters, which sampled more Democrats than Republicans, TIPP Insights found that only 18% of Nevadans said that Kamala’s California agenda makes them more likely to vote for her, with 40% saying it makes them less likely to support Harris, and 35% unsure.
Nevadans were also asked about the new law that Gavin Newsom signed, forbidding impersonations of candidates in political parody advertisements. Newsom specifically cited Elon Musk’s online postings as the motivation for this harsh and unconstitutional crackdown on free speech in California. Well, Nevadans side clearly with Musk in this showdown, with 57% supporting Elon and only 22% supporting Gavin’s censorship restriction.
Nevada voters also soundly reject the anti-energy radicalism of Kamala’s California, with only 26% of Nevada voters supporting the outlandish California law that bans gasoline cars by the year 2035.
Given these incredible polling results, it behooves the Trump campaign – and anyone working to get Trump back into the White House for a second term – to turn this election, in part, into a referendum on California. For decades, California represented an aspirational goal for Americans, a place of natural wonder and seemingly endless possibilities.
But that amazing state has been plundered and ruined by two generations of far-Left, Democrat rule, and people now flee California in droves. It has become “Paradise Lost.”
California has the highest poverty rate of any state in America, mainly because of the sky-high costs of living there. In addition, the fiscal profligacy of California serves as an echo of the damage Harris and President Joe Biden have wrought in Washington D.C. regarding nightmarish levels of overspending and debt. Californians now face a nearly $50 billion state deficit for the annual budget.
Radicals like Harris inflict not just economic pain, but also a repressive and radical cultural agenda, too. Parents are especially vulnerable in California. Right now in California, a child can effectively switch sexes at school, and teachers and other educational officials may not notify the student’s parents of that life-altering decision.
Here is NPR’s reporting on this lunacy: “The new law comes after several school districts in California passed policies requiring that parents be notified if a child requests to change their gender identification. That led to pushback by Democratic state officials, who say students have a right to privacy.”
So, unless you want your little son Tommy to secretly become Tammy at school, it is probably best to repel the California way.
Voters do not want Kamala Harris bringing the failures of California to the rest of America. So, let’s message effectively on this point and send her back to her home state.

If Trump did the homework [he stopped doing that 2 or 3 years ago], he'd be able to point out that California's problems are the result of massive fraud. The property taxes collected to repair streets, maintain parks & libraries, fund food and housing programs, hire police, prosecutors and firefighters, etc. etc. aren't hitting the streets. The citizens of California are actually told "Oh, you need a bridge repaired? Pass a bond ---we wasted your taxes. You want computers in classrooms? Pass a bond. We're broke." City government in California is all about giving dem attorneys, contractors & accountants tax money to undertake fantasy social programs ---with a large percentage of the money finding its way back, in the form of campaign contributions, to the officials who approve it. The biggest scam is giving away city litigation funds by putting the dimmest attorneys in the City Attorney's office in charge of fighting meritless civil liability cases against police departments.
[Every scam I referenced, btw, is going on at an accelerated rate on the federal level].
