We need to get rid of the establishment GOP

I listened to Meadow’s audio broadcast of McCarthy's comments. Treasonous to conservative causes, and disgusting.

Any US Republican senator or representative who votes McCarthy and McConnel to positons of leadership in 2023 should be voted out of his/her seat at the 2024 election. Time to clean the house; seriously.

It’s not a battle between right and left anymore, it’s a battle between good and evil!! McCarthy is evil!

This is a great statement, Steve. You are absolutely right about booting both "M & M" from GOP leadership. It seems apparent that we will take back the House and Senate in November, and with the new representatives expected to enter these chambers, there should be no reason not to remove the Old Guard. It is not only time to dismember the Dems, but it is also time to dismember the RINOs from the GOP. Last, but not least, it is also time to impeach Joe Biden before he and his minions destroy America. May God bless you for all that you contribute to the well-being of the MAGA movement and our country.

Timely and right on! Knew McCarthy in my days on David Horowitz Board.

Weasel! We can only hope President Trump doesn’t come out in support of him.

McCarthy went to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump a few months back and Trump said he supports him and had trust in him. I hope Trump now realizes that there are many vipers in the GOP establishment grass and be leery of who he throws his support to. There are a few who are admirable and at this point I could say ( which a medical doctor had said in an interview also) that Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is a sincere people’s representative as he sought to ferret out the truth regarding the injuries that the jab has caused to various people. We

hope that we have more of Senator Johnson’s kind in DC. Unlike McCarthy & McConnell who are the GOP dregs, they are there in DC only to help out their lobbyists and stuff their own pockets (at the expense of the American people just like almost, if not all, Democrats)

Historians, ages hence, will no doubt regard as the greatest irony of the Trump Presidency the fact that such a brilliant and cunning man, who had in business the "seeing eye" and who prided himself on an ability to discern talent (e.g., his role on "The Apprentice"), was seemingly blind about the potential for disloyalty in those whom he recruited for his Administration and upon whom he relied.

Our biggest enemy isn’t the left. It’s RINO Republicans. It’s the Republicans in AZ and GA who enabled voter fraud. Time to clean house.

Georgia Governor Kemp and Secretary of State, Raffensperger are corrupt establishment weasels IMO. Both running for re-election and need to be removed. They both were very much engaged in The corrupt 2020 election in GA and now trying to rewrite history as they run for office. I hope GA voters are not fooled.

Throw Lindsey Graham in there as the Triad of Ass Kissers who will agree with anyone they're talking with in the moment. Romney and Cheney are already Democrats so they're not included.

What is the point of returning control of Congress to the GOP this November if the current corrupt and feckless leadership will remain in place?

The only way to get rid of them is to make it so unpalatable for them to remain in office that they voluntarily retire. A "red wave" this fall will only serve to empower the exact people we need to remove, and further entrench and enrich these unrepentant traitors. They'll take it as a signal that we actually **support** them.

What's required is 40 years in the wilderness for the GOP, an absolute decimation at the Federal level. Force these dinosaurs to choose between wasting their twilight years in office with deeply diminished minority powers under the thumb of Schumer and Pelosi (or AOC and Durbin or whatever other awful creatures inherit power next), or heading home to their rocking chairs. Make it an easy call for them to hit the showers.

Don't get suckered into returning power to those who will inevitably betray us again. GIve your votes and your money to good candidates and organizations at the local and state level, where your support has the potential to make a real difference. Let the national party starve.

NO! There will not be a GOP, and probably not be a USA in "40 years of being in the wilderness" with Democrat anti-Constitution USA haters in power! ARE YOU A DEM, TRYING TO GET US TO NOT VOTE??

So who takes McCarthy’s place? Any thoughts on who to rally behind?

I'm for Ron Johnson, but there are others too.

I’d love him to replace McConnell but it feels so improbable it makes me sad

If McCarthy goes down the Republican Establishment holds a lot of power and will probably control who replaces him. My guess is Steve Scalise. He may be a nice guy, don’t know, but don’t see him as a strong MAGA supporter or passionate leader.

Our next crisis is already here. We need to act fast before our ability to speak on the internet is squashed.

“Controlled opposition” is the operative phrase. They key takeaway of the article. The establishment’s interest over that of the people.

oh my gosh - a politician that says one thing to the public and the opposite in private? This is unbelievable!! Thank you for reporting this! I bet this is the first time in the history of the US that this has happened! To add insult to injury - these two men ALMOST have as much history in Congress as Barbara Boxer or Biden alone! More reason to push them out of office! Only Dems should be able to stay in Congress forever. How dare a GOP stay there for more than two terms.

This is some EXCELLENT non-biased reporting. I look forward to your next piece of propoganda... um, I mean reporting.

The Fresno Bee put the boots to McCarthy in their blistering editorial about his craven behavior in last Sunday. edition .

If not McCarthy leading the House Republicans, then who? Mo Brooks? Marjorie Taylor Greene? Madison Cawthorn? Lauren Boebert? Paul Gosar? Louie Gohmert?

There's such a wealth of talent in the GOP caucus, I'm sure they can come up with someone who will lead them to the Promised Land.

you dimwit conservatives understand that 1) the 1st amendment only protects citizens from GOVERNMENT censorship 2) Twitter is a private platform paid for by the shareholders, and as such can enforce its policies, you know, like all private enterprises (no shirts no shoes no service)

Unless you're a baker who will bake any kind of cake on the planet for a homosexual except for a wedding cake for his "homosexual wedding" - then you are shite out of luck. Twitter, FB, and all other platforms should be open to law suits from wrongly censoring people.
